For the ninth year in a row, United Nations Association of San Diego (UNASD) has awarded scholarships to bright and promising college-bound Model UN students.  The $10,000 Annette I. Baughman Scholarship Fund of the United Nations Association of San Diego is a gift from Duane Baughman in honor of his mother, Annette, a former UNASD president.

This year, UNASD received the most applications in the scholarship's history.  After a very competitive process, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships to Anisha Mudaliar, Meili Eubank (both from Pacific Ridge School), and Marissa Wong from High Tech High International.  Annette Baughman put it best: "I am so grateful to my son for honoring me this way. Meeting these young people was a joy. They were so impressive, and they give me great hope for the future."
