Senator Clinton’s victory over Obama in California solidified her claim that she can deliver wins in the big states. We employed a mail campaign beginning in late December targeting those voters in California who vote early and vote by mail. As nearly half of the voters in California on Feb. 5 voted by mail. We also ran an intensive mail plan aimed at Latino voters, who came out decisively for Clinton.
